Ripplestreet_Greenies Breath Buster Bites Party

Hello,

I signed up for Houseparty.fun which recently changed to Ripplestreet.com. It is an awesome community where you are able to set-up your personal profile then Head over to the party applications page to start applying to host some awesome parties. They also have “chatterbox” opportunities to receive products to test and review without having to host a party. The chatterbox opportunities are far more limited than the party host opportunities but always keep an eye out for both types of ways to participate. The house parties are great, they send you a box full with all kinds of goodies to make your party great and there are always coupons to purchase the specified products (usually for free) or they will include the products in the package. There are also always plenty of extra goodies to make the party fun but also to give away to your guests to take home. I have been lucky enough to host about 5 parties in less than a year and have learned about so many great new products so I definitely suggest signing up.

This time I was selected to host a Greenies party for all of my favorite pups, especially my Oliver!

The party pack included:
  • (1) 5.5-ounce bag of GREENIES™ BREATH BUSTER™ Bites
  • (11) 1.2-ounce GREENIES™ BREATH BUSTER™ Bites samples for doggie guests
  • (11) GREENIES™ flyers with coupons
  • (11) GREENIES™-branded frisbees
  • (11) White plastic bags
Crisp Apple Flavor Breath Buster Bites
I think this was one of the favorite flavors for the dogs, especially our dog who loves apples. They were happy to take the treat and wanted more during the party.  I would definitely purchase the crisp apple flavor for our dog in the future and a couple of the party guests said the same. One thing we didn't like was the smell of these treats, my son said they smell like poo which is sort of funny for something that is supposed to help my dogs breath.

Chicken & Parsley Flavor Breath Buster Bites:
The chicken & parsley flavor bites were the second favorite for the dogs although I don't think they cared much as long as they were getting a treat. I would definitely purchase this flavor of the breath buster bites for my dog in the future because he liked them but I also didn't feel that they helped with his breath much as the bites were sort of stinky.

Fresh Flavor Breath Buster Bites
I think this fresh flavor was the least favorite for the dogs but they took them anyway.  I think this flavor would have had the best chance of improving my dogs breath as these treats were the least stinky of the three flavors we tried.

My Magazine_Vitamin Water Active_Free Sample

Hello,
I signed up for the Kroger My Magazine Sharing Network community which is an awesome place where you have the chance to collaborate with other like-minded individuals in discussions and missions. Through the missions you are asked to share about the community and your experience with the products on your social media outlets and also in person with friends and family. Sometimes the missions offer a free sample to try and then share about while others require sharing with the chance of winning a prize. I definitely suggest you check out the Kroger My Magazine Community because it’s a great time.

This time I was selected for the Vitamin Water Active mission to help stay hydrated while keeping active.
In the sample pack I received:
  • 3 Coupons for a free Vitamin Water Active
  • 4 Coupons to save $1.00 off of 2 Vitamin Water Active bottles.

The Vitamin Water Active is different than regular Vitamin Water and comes in three different flavors; Strawberry Black Cherry, Orange Mango, and Lemon Lime.  I went to my local King Soopers store and was able to pick up one of each flavor using the 3 free Vitamin Water Active coupons that I received in the sample pack.  My husband really liked these and ended up drinking both the Lemon Lime flavor and the Orange Mango flavor, he said that they were good during and after work to help keep his energy at an ok level.  He works as a mechanic so his job is labor intensive and these drinks can definitely come in handy to keep hydrated.  For the Strawberry Black Cherry flavor, I was able to give this to my son before and during his lacrosse practice.  My son absolutely loved the flavor and keeps asking for me to buy more of these for him.  I also noticed that it must have been keeping him more hydrated because he did not come back to get drinks as much as he typically does with his water bottle.  I will definitely think about purchasing more of these for my family, especially my son during his sports practices and I recommend you try them too.  I have not typically been a huge fan of Vitamin Water, I only drink it when there is no other option but I actually really liked this Active version of the Vitamin Water drinks.

Unfortunately all of the coupons have an expiration date that was coming up very quickly and I had to leave the other coupons for $1.00 off sitting on the shelf for others to use that day because they would have expired before I got back to the store to buy more after having tried the free ones.  I have found this many times with the My Magazine Sharing Network where the coupons expire very quickly after you receive the mission pack making it difficult to try the product then buy more with the coupon later.  I wish the My Magazine Sharing Network would send coupons with expiration dates further in the future to better facilitate the testing then buying aspect and also allow for more time to share with friends and family.

Hello Toothpaste _Kids Free Sample

Hello,

I signed up for the Hello Friends Sharing Network community by Hello Toothpaste which is an awesome place where you have the chance to collaborate with other like-minded individuals in discussions and missions. Through the missions you are asked to share about the community and your experience with the products on your social media outlets and also in person with friends and family. Sometimes the missions offer a free sample to try and then share about while others require sharing with the chance of winning a prize. I definitely suggest you check out the Hello Friends Community because it’s a great time.

I am a bit late in writing this blog post...like about 6 months late... but for the new year we received a small sample of Hello Kids toothpaste.  I am not sure how many uses the sample was designed for but according to our dentists recommendation on the amount of toothpaste to use, this sample lasted my son about 4 or 5 brushings.  He reluctantly used the toothpaste and each time asked how much longer he had to use this one.  Needless to say, he did not like this toothpaste at all.  I think he may not have liked it just because it was different from what he is used to as far as color and style and he said that it was too minty for him. We used up the tiny sample and my little one was glad when it was gone so we will not be purchasing more of this for him but I must say I have liked the adult versions of the Hello Toothpaste and my son said he thinks other kids should give it a try because everyone’s different.

I also forgot to take a photo of the sample but here is a photo of my little one and I for our Valentines Day mission with Hello Toothpaste.

I would still definitely recommend trying it out, he did not have any specific complaints other than that he didn't like it. I would certainly try the adult versions and possibly try out some for your kids but don't get too upset if the kids don't like it.

Snuggle Community _Free Snuggle Bear

Hello,
I signed up for the Snuggle Sharing Network community which is an awesome place where you have the chance to collaborate with other like-minded individuals in discussions and missions. Through the missions you are asked to share about the community and your experience with the products on your social media outlets and also in person with friends and family. Sometimes the missions offer a free sample to try and then share about while others require sharing with the chance of winning a prize. I definitely suggest you check out the Snuggle Community because it’s a great time.

As a prize for one of the missions we participated in we won a Snuggle Bear stuffed animal. These Snuggle bears are really small but my son absolutely loves them and this is the second one what we have received thanks to our participation in the community. My son loves participating in this community because we have had the chance to color some fun Snuggle Bear pictures and have taken our first bear on some adventures with us. To this point, none of the missions have had much to do with the actual snuggle products and I have yet to receive any free samples of any snuggle products but we are more than satisfied with our little Snuggle Bears.

Mucus Fighters_Free Mucus Doll_Patrick

Hello,

I signed up for the Mucus Fighters Sharing Network community by Mucinex which is an awesome place where you have the chance to collaborate with other like-minded individuals in discussions and missions. Through the missions you are asked to share about the community and your experience with the products on your social media outlets and also in person with friends and family. Sometimes the missions offer a free sample to try and then share about while others require sharing with the chance of winning a prize. I definitely suggest you check out the Mucus Fighters Community because it’s a great time.

My family and I participated in the St. Patricks day mission in which we colored some fun pictures of Mr. Mucus with a pot of gold.  As a result of that mission, we won a prize pack that contained another Mr. Mucus doll.  This is the third Mr. Mucus that we have received from the community and my son absolutely loves them.  The first two mucus dolls he named Carl and Jim, and this one because we got this for the the St. Patricks day mission my son named him Patrick. We love having these guys and we take at least one of them all over with us.  My son is always begging for a brother or sister so I think it makes him happy to have a few of these "brothers" to love.

We are going to keep on loving these guys and participating in more missions to see what great prizes we might receive next, although I don't know how many more Mr. Mucus dolls we need.

Ripplestreet_ Kikkoman Grilling Party_ Free

Hello,

I signed up for Houseparty.fun which recently changed to Ripplestreet.com . There are also always plenty of extra goodies to make the party fun but also to give away to your guests to take home. I have been lucky enough to host about 5 parties in less than a year and have learned about so many great new products so I definitely suggest signing up.

This time I was selected to host a Kikkoman Grilling Party. We chose to host this party for our 4th of July celebration at our house before the fireworks. We usually don’t do a whole lot of cooking with kikkoman products in our house aside from a select few recipes so we were super excited to try out some new flavors.

In the party pack I received:
  • 1, $25 AMEX Gift Card
  • 1 Grilling Tong
  • 1 Soy Sauce Booklet
  • 11 Recipe Booklets
  • 11 Coupons for a Free Kikkoman® Product
  • 6 Large T-shirts
  • 5 Extra-Large T-shirts
For the party, we decided to try three of the recipes from the booklets that were provided for the party. He recipes we chose were the, Castilian Herb Grilled Chicken, Beef Teriyaki Takumi Kabobs, and Teriyaki Sweet Corn. Prior to the party I knew there were a variety of Kikkoman products but I had absolutely no idea how many different things they offer. I cannot wait to keep trying new Kikkoman recipes for my family!

This was the first time that I had made Kabobs and apparently I need some practice because most of the sicks caught fire on the grill. I did soak them for over an hour as the directions said but it didn’t seem to help. I think I should have soaked them overnight to help prevent them from catching fire. Despite the fire situation, the Kabobs came out pretty well and they tasted great… it’s not like you’re eating the stick anyway so who cares if it’s a little burnt.

Castilian Herb-Grilled Chicken: We loved the Castilian Herb-Grilled Chicken breast. I purchased some chicken breasts from my local grocery store then followed the directions to marinate the chicken in the Kikkoman sauce that I made from the recipe. I was running a bit late to get everything set up so I only marinated the chicken for a little over an hour but I we were all very happy with the results. I then grilled up the chicken breasts on the grill and they cooked great, I was happy that the marinade was not super sticky and didn’t result in a hard outer crust on the chicken as some marinades do. I thought this recipe was great but gathering all of the ingredients took some time, I think that just marinating in the Kikkoman Takumi sauce would be equally as good. I think I will try some variations of my own with these recipes in the coming weeks.

Beef Teriyaki Takumi Kabobs: These Kabobs came out alright, the taste was great but the presentation was not so fabulous. This was the first time I have ever made Kabobs so I did my best to follow the instructions and I soaked the kabob sticks for a couple of hours in water so that they wouldn’t burn but apparently I did not soak them for long enough. For the kabob items I purchased some steaks and cut them into square pieces as well as onion, bell peppers, and fresh pineapple. Similar to the Castilian Chicken, I made the marinade from the recipe then let the kabob ingredients soak in the marinade for a couple of hours. I then put all of the ingredients on skewers and set them out on the grill. It was only a short time before several of the skewer sticks began to catch fire and broke as we tried to move them to a lower heat. Overall, we were able to save the kabobs and they turned out to taste great just the look of them was not as pretty as I had hoped. I think next time I try to make Kabobs, I will soak the skewers overnight and will also place the ingredients closer together on the stick to help prevent them from catching fire.

Sweet Teriyaki Corn: The sweet Teriyaki Corn was the recipe that I was most excited to try but it turned out that it was probably the least favorite of the recipes that we tried. I purchased some fresh corn on the cob at our local grocery store and grilled it up then covered it in butter and the Teriyaki Takumi sauce as directed. I thought that the corn was ok and I ended up eating most of it but the other guests took only a couple of bites then went back to the other meal items. I think in the future I will stick to just regular corn on the cob.

Ripplestreet _Made For America Summer Party_ Free

Hello,

I signed up for Houseparty.fun which recently changed to Ripplestreet.com . It is an awesome community where you are able to set-up your personal profile then Head over to the party applications page to start applying to host some awesome parties. There are also always plenty of extra goodies to make the party fun but also to give away to your guests to take home. I have been lucky enough to host about 5 parties in less than a year and have learned about so many great new products so I definitely suggest signing up.

This time I was selected to host a Made For America, Made For Summer Party featuring M&M and Skittles candies in Red, White, and Blue themed colors. The party day was supposed to be in June but we thought it would be better to save the theme for our 4th of July celebration. The Ripplestreet site provided some awesome favors in the party pack and great recipes to try out for the party or anytime.

In the party pack I received:
  • 1 Free coupon for for (1) Party Size (42 oz) Bag of Red, White & Blue M&M'S® candies
  • 1 Free coupon for (1) Skittles America Mix (14 oz)
  • 1 American Flag
  • 1 Festive Tablecloth
  • 1 Pack of festive napkins
  • 1 Round Clip to hold recipes
  • 1 Themed Party Bowl
  • 1 Festive Spatula
  • 1 Apron (NOTE: Please be sure to wash the apron before wearing it.)
  • 3 pairs of sunglasses
  • 6 Recipe cards with summertime recipes
  • 10 coupons for $0.75 off M&M'S® candies (9.6 oz) or SKITTLES® (14 oz) for guests

For the party, we hosted a 4th of July BBQ celebration at our house before the fireworks. We set up a tent and decorated it in Red,White, and Blue style. I chose to make the Blondie bars recipe but I took the easy way out and purchased a bag of Blondie mix. I then used the Blondie mix and separated it in two so that I could make ½ with m&ms and the other half with skittles. Both of these treats can out great but I think the M&M version was better just because it was easier to eat. The skittles Blondie bars were difficult to eat once the skittles had been baked and they got stuck in your teeth more than an unbaked skittle. In addition to the Blondie bars we also had an ice cream station where the guests were able to get a scoop of vanilla ice cream and top it with all of the great candies we had including m&ms, peanut m&ms, skittles, and snickers. I cut up the snickers into little pieces for ice cream toppings.

I was super excited to have found the M&Ms, peanut M&Ms, Skittles, and Snickers minis all in the Red, White, and Blue themed colors. I read on the Ripplestreet site that many of the participants were unable to find the themed colors so had to use original colored candies and were unable to use the coupons for the free items. We did have some difficulty finding the themed colored candies and had to travel to a variety of stores to find them all but eventually we did. Unfortunately now the Target near my home has all of the candies in the themed colors on clearance. I think they got the shipment or unpacked it too late as these were not out in the store prior to the 4th of July.

We had an absolute blast at our Made For America, Made For Summer Party and we are thinking of hosting an additional party as we have a ton of leftover candy.
