I just joined the Hello Friends Social Sharing Site. On this site I can contribute my own insights and learn new ideas from others. This site is a great way to get new ideas and connect with like minded individuals (at least when it comes to the household). I have the opportunity to win exciting prizes and in the future may have the opportunity to receive some free samples to test and review in the community and on social media platforms.
I already received a mission where I will be receiving 2 Hello Toothpaste products, I am so excited and I am looking forward to continuing to participate in their fun activities.
We were selected by Momsmeet.com to host a sample party featuring Orgain Kids Protein Nutritional Shakes. I was not sure if I should apply for this sample because my son eats awfully good in my opinion and does not really need protein drinks but after having tried these, I am so very glad that I applied and was selected. Orgain has protein products such as protein powder and pre-made protein drinks for both adults and children.
In the sample pack we received:
Two 12ct boxes of chocolate flavored Orgain Kids Protein Organic Nutritional Shakes
Five packets of Chocolate protein shake mix powder
approx. Fifteen packets of Vanilla protein shake mix powder.
a whole bunch of information pamphlets with a coupon code to order more.
We invited family and friends over for a fun Halloween themed get together to sample these awesome drinks. All of the kids really loved them and were super excited to take a few home in their treat bags. My mom has sold some other protein shake powder in the past so she was able to inform everyone at the meeting about some great recipes that could be used in conjunction with the protein powder mix.
My son and my 16 year old sister absolutely loved the pre made chocolate drinks. They drank all of them in just a few days and now have been begging for more. These were great for my sister who is in high school and often does not eat a full meal before or during school so this was a good way for her to get some extra nutrition. As for my son, I still don't think he really has a need for these but he absolutely loved them and was super cute hiding the last one from his auntie.
We will absolutely be purchasing more of these in the future and look forward to trying some of the other flavors such as the strawberry.

My mama, husband, and I are all signed up for the Marlboro website because we were all once smokers but now we just take advantage of the promotions they run and we give the coupons to the smokers we know. For one of the promotions they were running, we were each able to order a FREE Zippo lighter.

I was selected by MomsMeet.com to sample some Hippo Sacks for Free with my moms group. The majority of the moms in my group are also my co-workers and we happened to be having a Halloween party at work so decided to host our group meeting at that time to get use of the trash bags while cleaning up and also to expose the samples to many more people since there were so many included. These Hippo Sacks are plant based trash bags that are designed to be strong and also have wider handles to help with carrying the bags.
In the package we received:

1 450ct box of Diaper Bags
1 240ct box of Pet bags
and
a whole bunch of smaller 6ct boxes of Hippo Sacks Kitchen Trash Bags to give out as samples

One of the mamas in our group was super excited about the Diaper bags, she still has a little one in Diapers and could make good use of these. Several of the other moms were interested in the pet bags, it seems like a cheap way to have a bulk stock of pet bags, especially for walking the dog.
I most of all am liking the Kitchen Trash Bags with the wide handles. They seem super strong, in fact, stronger than I would have imagined and the handles are awesome. I am the sort that will risk losing circulation to my hand in order to make only 1 trip, and these wide handles are fabulous for that, they do not cut into my hands nor hut at all when carrying outside. I am also very appreciative for the strength because I have been teaching my 6 year old son to take out the trash but of course he is a trash bag dragger so luckily the strength of the bags helps prevent them from tearing while he is dragging through the house and yard.

We were super lucky to be selected to host a #BooBlockParty for Halloween thanks to Houseparty.fun and 7UP. This year for Halloween the 7UP brand sodas including 7Up, Sunkist, Squirt, A&W, and Canada Dry had Snapchat logos on them that when scanned on Snapchat allowed you to use a special filter for 1 hour. Each of the sodas provided a different filter and it was super fun to include these Snapchat filters in our Houseparty fun. We invited over family and friends to have a blast carving some pumpkins and enjoying the sodas and some fun snacks. For the party, my mom and I picked up some fun decorations including a wall banner, tablecloth, plates, streamers and more which really helped to set the mood. I then made some halloween funfetti cupcakes and set out some additional snacks for everyone to enjoy.

I went over to Safeway to pick up the sodas and was pleasantly surprised to find one of each of the types of soda that included the Snapchat filters. I was so excited to get one of each so we could experience all of the filters. I also was able to pick up 2 2-liters of 7UP brand sodas for free for the party thanks to the coupons provided and I used 5 of the coupons for $0.75 off of the 6 packs of cans.
My son and his cousins had a blast playing with the glow in the dark Tic-Tac-Toe game.
